October 2017 Tinley Park - questions
Hi there! I've only been to my smallish local reptile show before but I definitely want to hit Tinley Park this year. I always see the videos with that HUGE line out the door, is that the line to get in or to get tickets? I'm bringing my 6 year old and was thinking of getting VIP passes so we can pick them up Friday and get in Saturday without having to wait but if that's the line just to get in once you get your tickets I might save my money. Any tips for this show? I'm definitely only bringing a limited amount of money LOL, and I have reservations at the "sister" hotel already, so that's done. Any advice would be great, thanks!

I go to the NARBC in Tinley all the time; It's an awesome event! Typically the huge line you see is the line to get into the show itself. The ticket line tends to move rather quickly, but I would highly recommend getting your tickets via PayPal if you're not going the VIP route. I purchase my tickets via PayPal, and I just go to the pick-up table on the far right to get my wristband.

I usually get there a half hour or so after the start time, and I'm in within 10 minutes...and that's with three teenagers ☺️

That line is to get tickets. The line to get in goes down the hall back toward the hotel part.
