New snake tank add-on's and toys?
Hey everyone so I have recently have gotten a new ball python and so far I love her to bits but her tank is kinda baron she has her water and her hide hole and a box I had cut a few holes in and smoothed out for her to crawl through and hide in. BUT I am wondering what everyone else thinks is good for in her tank like what kind of foliage (like fake plants) or tubes, pipes, or branches. what is safe and what isn't for my new scaly friend. Any helpful tips and idea would be greatly appreciated!

Pua loves paper towels tubes. He just likes to squeeze himself up in one. Foliage, rocks, extra hides, all are good for you noodle.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...0241ff1327.jpg

Added a slate stone in there that I used a Dremal tool to grind down the edges and sharp spots. It's still rough enough to help with shedding and climbing onto it but not sharp enough to cause any cuts to the little one. Made sure to scrub it and boil it really well to be sure I'm not introducing any bugs or molds to the tank. Also have added a towel tube like JustinGatCat had stated and will soon head to a pet store to pick up some driftwood/branches to add for some height that mine might find enjoyable like Suffico said his likes. I will more than likely add some free standing plants that should be able to hold her up. Please keep the ideas coming I'd love to deck out her tank and make her feel really at home.

Have a lamp and pad watching the temps close for now till my thermostat gets here.

I'd turn off the UTH and just have the lamp until your thermostat gets here. Any UTH plugged straight into the wall reaches 110~130 degrees within 5 minutes.

Yeah that I noticed and have unplugged the UTH. The lamp is holding the warm side at 85-90F.
