Stuck shed

My ball python has some skin stuck on her head from her previous shed, How do i remove it? She isn't head shy with me anymore if that helps anything.

Perhaps give her a nice soak in warm water for about 30 minutes. After which gently and carefully rub the loose skin off that doesn't come off by its self

Leave it and correct your husbandry. It will take care of itself.


Damp moss in the hides is a great trick.

If you do soak, just remember to only have the water deep enough to go halfway up the snake. You don't want the snake submerged.
Then use a towel dampened with warm water and let you snake crawl through. The remaining shed should come off.

Is it just on her head or are her eye caps still intact?
and how long ago did she shed?

She shed last week i think and its only a little spot on her head. Everything else if off except the 7 little scales it's stuck on. Thanks for the tips I'll do this right now

If it was me, I would let it take care of itself then if it's that little.

Should i amp up the humidity to maybe 65 for the time?

It won't hurt to keep it 60-65.

Just make sure to keep it in the 55-60% range moving forward and bump to about 70 during the shedding process.
Also, as KMG mentioned above, damp moss in the hides during a shed helps a lot too.
