    Reputable Gila Monster breeders?
Ok so i just found out it is legal to keep Gila Monsters where i am. I have always wanted once since a kid so with my 2 extra cages coming up soon, I'm seriously debating using one of them to get a Gila. With that said, anyone know any reputable breeders out there who also supply a copy of breeding as proof so if needed, i can prove it's not a WC illegal one but an actual CBB.

Tom Crutchfield has three banded Gilas and two reticulated Gilas on his website listed as available right now (all subadults)....however, I'm not sure if the list is updated currently or not. Give him a call on his cell (his number is right on his website).

I cannot think of a guy with a better reputation in the industry. However, ask him if they are captives or WC's.....he does deal with a lot of WC animals, but he takes care of them extremely well. I'm not sure if the listed ones are captives or not.

As you may or may not know however, (I'm sure you do, I'm just saying) prepare to pay an arm and a leg for them, I've never seen a single animal priced less than a grand before in my countless hours of browsing Kingsnake over the years lol. The only other person I personally know that deals with them (or has them) is Richard from Reptile Rapture in Madison, Wisconsin....but I'm not sure if he breeds them or if he just cares for the two he has. Give him a call anyways, super nice guy and runs a great business.

I'd start with the "Helodermatidae - Beaded Lizards, Gila Monsters" group on Facebook. Lots of good info you can search out there and find your breeders too if you decide to pull the trigger.

That is one of the funniest things I've heard in a long time. I would never recommend doing business with a convicted animal smuggler.

I think Sauzo decided against a Gila?
They are neat animals for sure. I knew a couple that had one, always used big thick gloves to handle.

Try contacting "PROFESSIONAL BREEDERS" by googling that name. Steven and Karen Osborne are pioneers in Gila monster genetics and breeding. They are located in San Diego, California i believe.

Yeah i found a few breeders and did join the FB groups but havent pulled the trigger yet. Still thinking on it lol. I love the idea of one and have always wanted one as a kid but it's going to be a big commitment and i dont want to blindly jump in. Thanks for all the ideas everyone.
