Retarded snake!?

I have a ball python she's about 4 or so years old.
Shes always had issues with feeding. At first it was just not giving herself enough body to coil properly around food. Lately she's been missing entirely or biting herself and coiling around herself thinking she's food. Is there anything I can do? I've had a ball python before her and never had any issues. Also seems to have a hard time sensing where mouse is in her inclosure.

are you heating up the prey properly (to about 100~105 F) before offering?

Some of them are also just so foody and crazy that they will bite anything if they smell the prey is nearby lol.

What morph is she? I don't have any personal experience with this but I've read a lot of places about how certain morphs will have certain problems with sight and things like that. Like the infamous spider wobble

Sorry forgot to add. She's eating live mice. Doesn't ever try and bite me when I reach into cage.

I don't know what it's called. Just a plain Jane ball python.

If they were hungry, they will possibly bite something.

Does it have retained eyecaps that are causing vision issues?
