    New baby! Meet Cinnamon!
    Hi all!
So this happened in the space of a week... let me explain. We decided to buy a bigger viv for Wanda, and so her old viv became available for a new tenant (Lol). Last Sunday, we went to a few pet shops to search out a possible new snake, with the intention to see what was out there so we could think about things...
Well, that didn't go to plan :D About a month ago I went in to my local pet store (The one we bought Wanda from) and I'd seen a Spider ball python (I went in with my sister, so the boyf had not yet seen him) and fell in love! Of course at that time I couldn't have him, and I assumed he'd been sold long ago... And I guess you can guess what happened! He was still there, and the boyf asked to hold him... and he fell in love instantly too. And so, we put a down payment on Cinnamon! And then today, we went back and picked him up! His viv substrate is currently kitchen paper to see if he has mites (I'm sure he dosen't, but you can never be *too* sure) and the hubba huts ended up being too small for him so he now has boxes as hides until payday :D Not as attractive, but he seems to love them and hasn't come out of his hot hide for hours now. I'm glad he's setteling in! Of course, I had to take a few photos before I left him alone for the next week... so here he is!
*edit* also forgot to mention the store wern't 100% sure what sex he is, even though they thought he was male... so that'll be a trip to the vets later down the line!

He is actually bigger than Wanda... Whoops. Looks like we'll need to buy another big viv next payday. Which means we'll have another empty one... what a shame :D

Here he is doing a drink... He was a very thirsty boy when we put him in!

    Such a pretty snake!

I looked over at one point and he was sat like this, just watching me... What a funny snake :D

Also, in regards to quarantine (since I know some will be curious) his viv is on top of Wanda's new one, since there is nowhere else it can go. But, one Cinny is settled in their handeling will be at separate times, with plenty of sani gel before and after holding, and also disinfecting any tools used in one viv before going in the other.

    Thanks for looking!

Congrats! My first snake was my spider boy, and he's my most docile and relaxed python. My sister calls him "the therapy snake."

I hope he settles in and does well for you, he looks pretty happy already! :)

Beautiful guy! Spider has to be one of my favorite single gene morphs. Congrats on the new addition.

Thank you all! I'm honestly surprised by how well he's settled already! Wanda took at least two weeks to stop moving around at all hours... but I guess since he's our second beep we know what we're doing a bit better now lol :D

Also here's a bonus picture of him in his little cardboard box hide:

Heh, thank you! We just decided that Cinnamon was a cute name :)
Speaking of, we went to the vets today and they probed him and he is a boy! He's also 640g! A lot bigger than I thought whoops :O But the vet said he is in very good body condition, and all of the nurses were fawning over him, saying how beautiful he was :D He's happy back in his viv now, hiding in his hot hide :D
