How to LOWER ambient temps?
So, it's really hot at the moment in the UK... In my bedroom (Where I keep the snakes) the ambient temp is 29c (84f) which for a cold side is MUCH too hot. I've got all the windows open, and a fan on directed at the cold side of the vivs, and yet the cold sides are sitting at 28c (82f). What can I do to lower the temps? How long will that temp be okay, and what will happen if they can't get cold enough?
Thanks in advanced!

If not I wouldnt worry about it. During hot summer dates my snake room hits 85. I have AC and will just crack the door to release some heat but it still stays 80-82 in the summer.
If you really need to do something you could make a swamp fan.
It dosen't usually get hotter than this, but it could be this temp for 4-5 days at a time, so I'm wondering if that'll be okay.
One thing my sister does for her ferrets (Completely different from snakes, I know :D) is put frozen bottles in their run to keep them cool. I've seen people do this in England alot (we don't really have AC built in) but put the frozen bottle in front of a fan to blow cold air about. I'm not sure it'd work, and also not sure if it would be okay just to put a frozen bottle in the actual tank?? I'm thinking it would also help keep the humidity up, but then again if one of the snakes curls around it that seems like a bad idea... I don't know. It's probably a really stupid idea, thoughts?

I have acctualy heard of doing doing something like that. I'm from Texas so I my self have tried to think of ways to cool down the house a little better if not cheaper lol but my grandma acctualy did it with just cool water
