How much bedding do I need?

I have a retic in a AP T10and thinking of getting the reptichip for bedding. I want about 1/2 inch so the flex watt is still effective. I'm not sure of the quart size for the T 10. At 48x24 how many quarts will I need for 1/2 inch of bedding give it take a little?
