    Hatchlings belly question
So one of my baby BELs is out. It used all of the yolk and disconnected from its cord. The opening where the cord was is about size of tip of little finger. Will it seal itself or is it a couse for alarm?

Should be fine. Put them on damp paper towels. My last clutch had two that had longer than usual cords. It took a few days, but they healed.

Thank you for the reply :) Already put s\h to tub with damp paper towels. It's relief to hear that it should be fine :)

Panicking over nothing... Again. If it would have been guts, baby would have died in couple of minutes :rolleye2:
