1.2 Leos in the same enclosure...and...
So my 1.1 banana blizzards passed 40 grams each, so they finally are large enough to hold their own with my larger 9 mo. old female, who weighs in around 95 grams. Anyways, here's the setup:

The little blizzards were in their own 20 long. So I had an empty tank. I definitely caught a case of empty tank syndrome, look what happened:

I'm probably going to put some S. American cichlids in there once it cycles out. I'll post some pics in the fish forum as soon as those guys arrive.
Second opinions anyone? Definitely a case of ETS.

They all look great, your room there looks a lot like ours... more cages than seats...
Re: 1.2 Leos in the same enclosure...and...
This room is officially cut off at this point from any new stands. I've got an improvised stand in the other corner with 2 AP cages and the leos are on the bottom shelf of that stand, then theres the other two that you can see in that picture. No more stands = no more cages = no more animals.
Re: 1.2 Leos in the same enclosure...and...
That's what I was told as well, but then I bought a new stand, which opened up a whole new door. There's always more room!
Re: 1.2 Leos in the same enclosure...and...
Cool; those guys are little fatties :)
I love cichlids; I have two Oscars in one tank, and a bunch of African cichlids in another. They are constantly moving and entertaining. I don't know how many would fit into a 20g though. Oscars would definately outgrow it and would be happy in, say, a bathtub!
Re: 1.2 Leos in the same enclosure...and...
I was thinking more along the lines of maybe a parrotfish, green terrors, or even a couple convicts. I don't have a problem swapping them out once they outgrow the tank or each other, just replace them with different smaller stuff.
I just put two clown loaches in last night as things get started. My ammonia levels are pretty low for a new tank, so I decided to put them in there to get the ball rolling.
