    amazing sense of smell
i am just amazed at how well these snakes can pick up on the scent of a mouse. My bp is about to have her 9th meal, the mouse is thawing as i write this. well ussually i take the mouse and put it in a plastic bag and place it in hot water. then i remove the mouse from the bag when it is thawed and place it under the IR light i have on top of the cage to warm it up. It ussually isnt 30 seconds before i see my Bp's head moving around in one of her hides and then out she comes. Today however i just placed the mouse ( still frozen )on the wooden top of the cage on a bowl. i was amazed when i looked back at the cage, and she was out trying to track it down. Specially sense she is going through her 2nd shed and her eyes have been cloudy for 3 days and she hasnt showin her face sense sunday morning. these snakes are really cool and i am starting to think i want to get my second one this fall.
