Animal Plastic T 10 sliding doors
I went to Home Depot and bought a jewelry lock that most use for sliding glass doors. The issue is the middle support is too big and I cant use it. I know I can buy one directly from AP for 20 but wanted to see if you all used something different and where you got it

I went to a local locksmith store for mine. Not sure if they have those everywhere though

Yeah, not exactly the run of the mill lock. I just bought mine from AP. Though I have yet to use them. I live alone and keep the door closed to that room.

I use press on showcase locks on my AP enclosures.

Tried this but it didn't work. Was too short and the lock couldn't click on place

The cage should have slots cut in the sides that the door slides into, try sliding the doors the other way, with the front panel going all the way to the right. They should close further that way.

Here are a couple of my T8s with those locks installed.

Crazy. I put them through the gaps at the end and it doesn't work. I must be doing something wrong

I think part of the issue is the center support on the T10 must be much wider than the ones found on T8s (the T8 support is about 1 1/2" wide) and the stick on locks I have are just shy of 4" long. If your lock is the same model (which is appears to be) your center support appears to be closer to 2 1/2" wide.

One nice thing about these stick on locks, you can bend the end piece flat and slide it to whatever position you need it to be.
