What temps for shipping

I have a snake due to come my way but the temps during the days here are 108-113 with nights around 87. How long will I have to wait to get this snake? September?

Depends on the shipper, I reckon. I'd personally wait for temps to drop into the 90s and probably have it shipped to your nearest hub.

I have some animals on hold right now due to high temps on t he receiver's end, the animals will be shipped when the temps are no higher than 88/90 at ETA at destination but also origin, and transit hub.

No one can tell you when it will happen, it's about keeping an eye on the weather and see when there Is a window of opportunity.

Shipping in the Southwest heat can def be challenging!

Over 100F in either origin or destination is pretty discouraging, but we do have some upper temp limit guidelines at ShipYourReptiles that you can refer to, and you might find a window that works.

Very briefly, with daytime high temps between 92-100F, you should only be shipping to a FedEx facility Hold for Pickup. You want to be SURE this is an actual FedEx facility, not an authorized outlet, FedEx Office/Kinkos, or PakMail type spot. Delivery to the actual facility should put the package there in the early morning hours, often by 6am, ready to pickup once they open to the public, typically 9am. For the other outlets, the package would still go on a truck for a drive through the heat, and you don't want that.

That doesn't help a whole lot when you live in the fiery furnace of Phoenix and the high for the day is 115F, but there ARE some parameters and guidelines that we at ShipYourReptiles feel comfortable and confident in for shipping to 100F.
