How long can a BP go without heat?

Hi all,
Sometime next week, we will be upgrading Wanda's home, and also upgrading from heat mats to a ceramic lamp. Since this is the first time we're using a ceramic lamp, I want to have it set up for a while before I put Wanda in the tank, pref. overnight. My problem is obviously I'd be taking the thermostat off of her current heatmat, turning that one off and leaving her without heat over night. I was just wondering if this would be fine, and how long it would be okay to leave her without heat?

Why would you get rid of the heat pads? Keep the heat pads AND the ceramic heat emitter, if your ambient temperature isn't enough. As long as the heat pads are on a thermostat.

I am not using heat mats anymore as I am using wooden vivs (As we do in England ;)) and I've read that they are not safe with larger snakes sue to thermal blocking from their large bodies.

Why do you need to take off the Uth? I have a uth hooked to a thermostat and ceramic lamp on a dimmer for ambient temperatures. Make sure you have thermometers etc

I don't wish to sound rude, but can my actual question be answered please?

as long as your ambient temps are above 75 your snake will be fine for a little while. plenty of time to get your new setup dialed in.

So long your temps do not fall below 24 that is the most important and you will be fine without a hot spot, of course if they are around 24 this means you should avoid feeding. Now if your temps without a hot spot are around 28/29 then you can feed.
