    lizard litter?
my blood goes under her newspaper pretty much 24-7 (even at night she wont come out) so i went and ordered coconut husk at my local petstore (or so i thought) when i came to pick it up i got something called lizard litter. i took it because i paid for it and they explained it was what they thought i was asking for. anyway i just wanna know if it would be ok for me to use for my blood for a substrate or if anyone has had any expeirience with this substrate (of course i wouldn't feed in the cage anymore) if you need any info on it just check here

I use to use that exact stuff for my geckos, but hated to have to spot clean it cause it was just a pain in the neck. Not sure if it would be OK to use with your snake, however if you do, I would not feed on it.

    Side Note:
The other stuff you want, cant remember the name.... want to say bed a beast, but probably I am wrong... is in a block, looks like a brick, you have to add water to soften it up and then wring the water from it, it needs to be dried out, I used that for awhile too, but it got to be a pain in the neck to dry, took a long time in the oven to do so to get it thoroughly dry.

I used lizard litter when I got my first bp. It worked just fine....pretty much the same thing as aspen....just smaller pieces :) I feed on it....it was supposed to be digestable so I had no worries.

oops....I just checked the link...that is not the same 'lizard litter' that I used. I guess they have different type. I used the aspen blend stuff.

from the ingredients, it sounds like it would hold humidity well...but that is just a guess because of what it is made with
