    Getting in breeding ball pythons
I'm looking to get into the hobby of breeding ball pythons. I currently have one normal male ball python about 4 years old. What would be good to get to breed with him in the future? If I got a hatchling right now and raised her up would my male then be too old to breed? Either way what morphs would you guys suggest I look into for less than $450? Any information would be great, thanks!

Study a lot more. Breeding to a normal unless you have something very expensive to breed it to is not such a good idea. If you do it needs to be a Super or an ALS. The idea is to produce no normals. You can look on morph market to get an idea of prices.

I would not breed a normal male to anything.

You would not want to waste a female even a single gene female by breeding her to a normal male.

Breeding to a normal is handy when you are trying to isolate genes. I don't think that is the case here however.

I would not recommend breeding a normal male to any females.
you want to put multi gene males to single gene females not the other way around. However its your call.
Also if you do decide to breed him no he will not be too old, as long as he is in shape. males that are over fed will generally not breed. a male should be long and lean much like a athlete.
