Sounds great Brandon! Hope you have a fantastic school year!

My oldest daughter graduated last year so it's been sort of wierd watching her get her first apartment and a full-time job. My next oldest, son age 14, starts high school this year so another big step. My next one, daughter almost 12, goes into grade 7 this year and my youngest son, age 4, will probably start play school after Christmas.

Next year this time I will have all of my kids either done school or in school...whooohooo!!!!!

    Omg...but next year I will have 3 teenagers....oh....dear...*faint*

I am totally excited for school!! I've been out of high school for a year and finished my first year of sign painting school, I've got this one year left and I'm SO excited! Last year I learned how to hand paint letters, but this year I get to learn how to airbrush and gold-leaf and do all the fancy paint stuff. Not to mention I have awesome classmates and my teacher(s) are super cool. As much as I love school, I'm even more excited to be completely done with it in May, and have an awesome job that I totally love, all before I turn 21! Woooo! :D

Im also a sophmore and going into the NJROTC program at our school so im excited about that. About the rest of the school i kinda want summer to last a bit longer I am coming from private school then half a year of homeschool and now im entering public school so im interested in what will happen. I havent meet any of my teachers but I am taking all AP or Advance classes. For sports wreslting. I havent done it in years but i loved it when i was doing it so i cant wait for that. I think thats about it the only thing i wish is that there was a herp class i could do that no problem.

Wow....I cant ever remember being excited to go to school, heck I can hardly even remember going to school, but it's a good sign that you are excited Brandon....gotta have that education if you want to make it in this world.
I only have one left in grade school, she is going into the 8th grade. The rest of my clan has been out for a while. One is in the Airforce, one in the Marines and the other is living at home and going to Jr. College to be a Medical Transcriptionist. My Grandaughter will start pre-school hopefully in the second half of the school year.
A lot of you know my age but the coolest thing I can remember about school is having Burl Ives brother-in-law as a teacher. His class is the only one that I can truely remember because all you had to do was bring up WWI/II and he would tell war stories all period.
Good luck to all of you that are attending school. A mind is a terrible thing to waist....

My graduate school classes start on Sept. 9th. I am interested to see how this first quarter goes(we do 3 quarters instead of 2 semesters).

Fun classes for me this quarter too:
    Advanced Design of Concrete Structures
Finite Element Analysis (this is the one I am fearing)
Assessment and Rehabilitation of Above Ground Structures

I'm glad to hear that people are happy about school beginning. I would encourage everyone who's in high school (or heck, even college) please stick with it! :)
I hope that all you students have a safe, fun year that you'll remember forever. And all of you moms and dads, just think, you'll get a break!
I used to dread this time of year; thinking of winter, of snow, etc. But I've come to the realization that you can't change nature, so you might as well embrace it! I LOVE the Fall and can't wait to go get pumpkins!

My son starts his first real day of kindergarden today! Gotta go get him ready and drop him off. He goes from 9-4. It seems like a very long time for a poor little 5 year old. Oh well. :disbelief :tears: This is gonna be a difficult week for him and me both, but he does like school and has a couple friends in it too. sigh
