New Ball Python Owner - concerned
Hey guys ! Pretty excited to be a part of this forum. Anyways , I'm a new ball python owner and a snake owner.. so it's just been 1 day since I've owned a bp . I have a few questions (concerns) . So because I live in Malaysia , it's always hot here so I don't need a heat mat since the temperature is already about 26-29 Celsius.

    1. Is it common for a snake to be active for the first few days?

-The first day , it got here at around 4pm and when I put it in it's home, it got active .. drank water then explored abit. But it seems like it's trying to escape and so I got abit worried if it doesn't like it's home.. Or is it just active during this time ?

    2. Is it good if it is pooping and peeing?

-I've done Alot of research before getting a bp, including research on my climate here too if it's ok for a bp.
So I've read a few posts saying that if it eats, poops and pee then it should be fine.

Again I'm a new bp owner and I'm just abit worried about everything hahaha

Congrats and welcome to the forum.

To answer your questions: yes and yes. Both normal and nothing to worry about.
