Opportunity knocked and I had to say yes. Meet Octavia. She's 1 1/2, and originally comes from Breeder's Circle. A friend of mine was downsizing and I could not pass up the chance to work with this gene. This is just a quick shot of her as she's headed into QT. I'll post more at some point that really show how she's different from a regular Spider.

She's not super high expression, but somewhere nicely in the middle. Should have grabbed some side shots of her in retrospect. That's where the Shatter is really evident.

Yeah, and that's not even the good/weird stuff. There are several places on her sides where the pattern is blown apart and a lot of black and grey speckling occurs. There are patches on it on her belly too. The Shatter gene really brightens certain co-doms up too. In Spider it presents kind of like OD. The gene is really neat IMO. It's like having ability to genetically replicate small paradox marks.

I hope so Albert. I'm interested in introducing her to my Huffman male this season if she's ready. Not sure what other way I'd go except with the GHI guy. Could be interesting either way considering how badly each of those mess with pattern. Love your input considering what I have to work with.
