    Thoughts on Blue Tongue Skink
    So, I love these guys. I do not have one myself, but I've seen so many thing on them. They are so cute and friendly, I just want one so badly. Haha, what are your thoughts on 'em?

    I don't own a blue tongue, but have been around a few and they are awesome animals. I do have an African Fire Skink and he's an awesome animal as well. Not quite as chill yet as the blue tongues I've met, but still chill, but he's still young and getting better with regular handling. He's a beautiful animal, easy to keep and doesn't require as much room as a blue tongue.

    They are fun Lizards, and when provided with the proper husbandry are pretty simple to care for. They are by far one of my favorite lizards to keep. If you are seriously considering one I would recommend you head over to bluetongueskinks.net and dive into the different species, and all the care sheets. There is a ton of information over there, and there are subtle differences in husbandry for the Aussie vs Indo species.
