Keeping BP in same room as rodents
I was recently able to buy a shelving unit so I could consolidate some of my pet cages. I live in an apartment, so I had my snake in my living room and all my other pets were in my bedroom. I was toying with the idea of moving my snake's tank into my room since I spend more time in my room. The shelving unit has 3 shelves, and I wanted to put her on top. My gerbil and hamster cages would take up the other two shelves. I also have guinea pigs in my room. I'm not too worried about it bothering my rodents, but I didn't want to stress my snake out too much. She is an excellent feeder on F/T, and just moved from mice to rats. My gerbil and hamster are in 20L tanks and my snake is in a 20H. I'm mostly wondering if this would stress any of my pets out. Does anyone keep rodent pets or live feeders in the same room as their snake?

I keep them both in the same room and have not noticed any change in my snakes .

My snakes and ferrets are in the same room. Never had any issues.
I also know of many people who breed mice and/or rats and they are in the same room as their snakes with no issues.
    You're good to go.
