Such heartache through this process having lost 3 babies from this clutch.
This little guy/gal emerged today and weighs 55 grams.

First of all congratulations!!!! Its an absolutely gorgeous snake. Second, This is a weird question but do snakes usually look belated when they are born? That snake is has significantly more girth than my 8ish month old and I was wondering if mine is too small or your newborn is just particularly beefy (I say that in the kindest way possible lol)

The bulge is where little one has absorbed its yolk. This will sustain it until it sheds and isnreadybto feed xx
