Danger zone question

I know eggs can go bad for many many reasons, but assuming I do everything right is there a window in the beginning where eggs go bad because they were just not meant to be? I have my first clutch out since 1993 last week. Everything is so different than it was back then. I am just wondering if eggs that were just not meant to be go at a certain time
in incubation? Any thoughts?

Not really I lost two hatchlings this year both of them fully developed. One piped and never came out. The other I had to help (day 63) out by cutting and he came out fine no yoke left umbilical looked good. Went into a corner and passed. But it can happen anytime during incubation or even just after

Windows are non issue, a window is simply a spot where the egg has not be fully calcified which does not pose any problem. If the egg goes bad it has nothing to do with the window but simply that the embryo has died.

I meant a time frame. If your going to lose an egg do most go
in the first week, first 30 days. I know you can lose one at any time, but I am
talking more like do most bad ones go at a
certain time. IM thinking like first trimester women have to
worry the most, but I know bad things can happen any time looking more for where most go bad.

Most of my go bads are known day 1. Little or no veins.

They can go bad at any time but usually most will during the first few days.

That's what I was wondering. I know anything can die at any time, but usually there is a window of time where things are most vulnerable.

we candled the eggs we got. Saw lots of spider veins, but nothing big. Guessing that's normal?

Lots of veins is good. Egg should glow red/orange. A lot of yellow is not looking good.
