    Ball python issue
My roughly 1 an a half year old ball python is having trouble eating. Her mouth has a blackish colour to it and she seems to have trouble making strikes. She makes the striking motion buto doesn't take the prey. Cant tell if she's just barely missing it or not able to open mouth completely. She's only taken 1 in the last 3 preys we've offered. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Will try to post photos asap.

photos are the only way we're going to be able to help.

the blackish color description is not something you want to see. a healthy beep's mouth is a light, soft pink.

what is your setup like? heat sources, temp/humidity gauges, thermostat, enclosure size, etc?

how much does the snake weigh? and what type/size prey are you offering him?
