    Climbing up Tank Walls?
I realized that my snake constantly climbs up the tank wall, then falls and its kinda sad to watch. I'm just wondering why they do this.

He escaped very recently and then I see him climbing up the walls more often.

Is this a problem? Perhaps stressed?

Could be stress, hunger, or exploring.

Check your numbers and make sure your hides offer security.

If I knew more about your setup I might be able to offer more.

If it's just casual night time exploring I wouldn't worry. If it's fairly constant and happens throughout the day I'm guessing he is either stressed or hungry.

If your husbandry is on point he's probably hungry.

He's about 8 months old and I put him in a 20L. The tank is kinda big, so I cluttered it up. Hides are a little big, but the smaller ones doesn't fit him anymore.

Temps are 90-93 at the hotspot, cool side is about 77-80. And ambient is 80-83 degrees.

    Ok, what's his feeding schedule?
What size prey are you offering?

I had so many hoppers remaining and he outgrew them. So now I'm feeding him 2 hoppers every 6 days.

My snake did the same at that age, but then he got bigger, stronger and more skilled at climbing about so now he almost never falls.
Mine never escaped but he has always and still does climb about and reach up to the top.
