    stupid question im sure
I have a 1000 gram + male thats off feed which i hear is normal... i have a female that appears to be getting into season... im aware that males basically use a lot of energy while breeding and i assume since hes off feed i shouldnt introduce him to my female?

If he looks healthy and his weight is stabile then it's no problem breeding him :)

Considering his size he can be introduced without issues (so long he is well proportionate), it's not abnormal for males to go off feed while breeding and it does not mean breeding has to stop, it simply means that depending on the male they need to be monitored more closely (small males) to make sure they are not over bred.
