Just yesterday my Boa shed for the first time. It came off all in one piece, with no tears, rips, or any of the skin crumpled together, even the head and jaw pieces were intact. As a result I was was able to get a very accurate measurement. He is now 22 inches long. Even more amazing to me was that he was able to do it with out leaving his vines. Never touched the ground once.
