Learning before i get my first snake need advice

Keeping my tank in florida my temp during the day is 80-90 and at night 70-80 where my tank will site in a room has no a/c but has fan indoors do i still use a heating pad or should i be fine every has different thought and i need best advice not just to get a snake sold thanks in advance i have a 10 gallen tank with top a hiding place water bowl

During the day if your temps are in the mid 80's you will not need a hot spot however if temps fall under 80 at nigh I recommend to provide a hot spot.

Proper heat are very important not only for overall health (you do not want your temps to fall below 75) but also to facilitate proper digestion (in that case I would recommend to have your temps at 80 min at night.)

For the rest there are caresheets and tons of threads on how to properly setup your enclosure.

You need two hiding spots, the warm side and the cool side. Also, you will likely need a heat source for the evening during the winter.
