Shedding question
I looked for this answer to no avail.
Boop refused her rat pup on Wednesday and her eyes were a little cloudy but not blue. Thursday her eyes were very blue.
My question is: how long before she sheds? It is Sunday and she is still curled up in a ball. I'm worried.

Re: Shedding question
According to Siri five to six day after the eyes get clouded so probably soon? Good luck hope her shade goes smoothly [emoji6][emoji216]

If the humidity has been good it should shed in the next couple to few days.

That's plenty of humidity.

The process is different for each animal. I have one that will go from pink belly to blue to clear and fully shed in 4 days like clockwork.
Others will take 4-5 days after their eyes clear to shed.
Keep your humidity in check and she'll shed when she's ready. No need to worry.

Fear not ... nothing happens UNTIL the eyes go clear again then it takes from two to seven days ( or more in some cases ) ...
Just wait till eyes clear them spray the viv a couple of times each day and you'll get a perfect shed ...

So i just checked and she did in fact shed tonight. She shed weird...complete but weird. its like she twisted out of her skin. the front piece and back piece look like yarn balls and the middle is twisted like a twizzler lol. And she had a nice big poop too that she had just done when i checked. it was still glistening lol. Is the twisting normal?

Sometimes it's not the snake that's spinning but just the way the skin peels off that gives it that appearance. I really doubt the snake was spinning or twisting but snakes are snakes and they live to confuse us.

It's probably just the way the shed skin ended up. No need to worry.
