Monty ate right off the bat.. all is well...
Well my stepdad works for the ems (paramedic) and he goes by a store that carries feeder mice on the way home, so I asked him to get me 2 fuzzies and he said that they didnt have fuzzies but they had pinkies and he bought 2. They were frozen which was good, thats what I wanted, my mom doesnt like live mice in the house, she dont like snakes either but I have Monty right ;) . Well I moved him to his other cage, and pulled out a thawed pinky, he acted scared when i put it in but i enticed and encouraged him to eat by putting it beside him, dangling it, wiggling it beside him and then left it alone, he eyed it finally when he realized it was there, and then WHAM, he hits it, coils up and constricts. After a minuite or two he started his feed, he swallowed it rear end first, and when he swallowed I noticed that when he started that the mouse had been split from the belly up to the back where it stayed attached. I was amazed how well he mad his bite, it was fanfastic, it was a clean cut. Ill tell you what, I dont want to be bitten by my boy:cool: .
