    Adult BP Housing
I know this topic has been discussed before, but I'm looking for some clarification. It's common to keep adult BPs in 41qt racks. And it seems like when they outgrow medium hides, that get no hide at all. My question is - when the adult BP is in a 41qt rack with no hide, are the racks enclosed or open on the sides? Are the tubs clear or opaque?

From my understanding those who use a rack do not need a hide since the tub itself is enclosed on 3 of the 4 sides and every rack I've seen are opaque. My tub is clear and not in a rack so I have hides.

Enclosed on 3 sides. A ball python adult in an open rack without hides is going to be stressed unless the rack is in a very dark room

Do you think a dark fabric (like a blackout curtain) draped over would do the trick? Otherwise, I could use panel board on the sides to cover the gaps. The back is trickier though since that's where all the heat tape wiring is.
