Recommend a good frozen food distributor.
Just look for some recommendations on a good frozen rat distributor online. Something around a good price and good quality. Anyone know of any good ones?

I've been hearing nothing but good things about Perfect Prey and Big Cheese Rodent Factory. No experience with them yet personally, but they are often recommended with good reviews. I'm planing on purchasing from them when I get my own noodle bby :)

I was once in your position too trying to figure out which online distributor is best for me.
And my answer is Big Cheese Rodent Factory
cuz they have the most affordable shipping fee, the price per rodent was reasonable, rodents were in good quality, have a really long storage time.
I compared a lot of webs, and BCRF is the best.

I have done business with several in the past and always recommend those for the quality, cleanliness, and packaging of the feeders.

I've only used perfect prey and south Florida rodents and recommend them both. Perfect preys prices seem way better, so I'll most likely stick with them for future orders.

I am actually receiving my first order tomorrow.

After doing some online window shopping I chose Perfect Prey based on price (actually a good amount less than anybody else I looked into) and their reputation.

I decided to call and place my order because I was hoping to use up a prepaid debit card I had gotten as a gift and put the balance on my other debit card. I spoke with Jim who was more than happy to help. He was in the middle of a few things when I called and asked if he could call me back in a little while when he wrapped up what he was doing. I said "no problem" and he called back in about 15-20 minutes just like he said he would. Order was placed within a few minutes and I received an email with the tracking info as well as a "thank you" email for placing my order with them.

So any setbacks aside, I should be getting my order tomorrow.

I have nothing but high expectations based on reputation and my experience so far.

I plan on posting a thread once the order arrives with a complete review.

I used Perfect Prey for my first frozen mail-in order, the packaging was really well done to keep things frozen, plenty of dry ice, loads of insulation, and even got a nice little handwritten thank you note lol. Definitely will continue using them. Especially with the "smaller quantities" option so I don't have to get 20+ weaned rats for my one growing BP.

I used Big Cheese almost exclusively until they ran into some shortage issues over the fall/winter at which point I gave Perfect Prey a try. Happy with both of these suppliers.

I mostly use Perfect Prey but have used Big Cheese as well when they have the sizes I need. Here's one of my recent Perfect Prey orders.

I had been using rodent pro but my last round of med. rats were stained with pee and stunk so badly. I tried Perfect Prey instead recently and was very happy. Even with slower shipping they used the perfect amount of dry ice, well packed so everything was still rock solidly frozen, vacuum sealed except for the chicks, clean feeders. Plus they gave me a free pen lol.
