    Another Scaredy Cat
I didn't want to hijack the other member's thread, so I figured I should post separately. A while back, I gave her a small feeder rat, and the thing tried to kill her. Before I could get it out of her enclosure, it but her twice on the back and once on the tail (not deep, but poor baby- I felt like the worst snake owner). She then refused every food item for the next 8 or 9 weeks. She finally ate 4 pinkies, then 3 fuzzies, then 2 fuzzies, and, on her last feed, a pup and a fuzzy. I've been bottle feeding the other pup I got in hopes that she'll take it this weekend (letting it starve is cruel and I don't want to kill it for no reason), but I'm worried she won't take it at all. There have been no notable temp, humidity, feeding time, enclosure setup, substrate or prey type changes from the gladiator rat up to now. She had no real fear of rats before she got snagged, but she was hesitant to even go near that last pup. The gladiator rat is now my pet/a feeder breeder and is due to have a litter in about 10 days, but I don't know what to do about my girl, though- do I keep feeding her little babies? It seems like larger prey would be better than multiple tiny prey items (and it's also frustrating, but that's not my main concern by any means). Did that rat break my snake 😂?
