Frozen mice???

Hi, I am getting my ball python soon and am wondering what would i do if he didn't want to eat the frozen mouse? Would i just throw it away or refreeze it? Also I have the cage set up and ready and my floor temp was 92 on warm side and 87 on cool side. Ambient was about 88 warm and 85 cool. This too hot or too cold? I am using only heat lamp with two thirds of the lid wrapped in aluminum foil and its a 20 gallon high tank.

No. You NEVER refreeze it once its thawed. You just gotta toss it and try to figure out why they didnt eat it. I dont know too much about temps (I'm a newish snake owner too) but I can be helpful to get a thermostat to manage your lights and temps for you. You dont really need actual light. Heat emitters can work just fine but thats presence for you/your bp. Hope this helped!

FALSE you can refreeze them, until they can be properly disposed of, this will aid in the reduction of vermin on your property.

You never offer refrozen rodents to your snakes, however

Frozen mice need to be heated before feeding to snake i would put it in a zip lock bag and put the bag in hot water to unthaw then try feeding, remember they go off body heat so make sure its nice and warm lol. As far as temps the warm side is good but the cool side should be a little cooler like 78-80 IMO. Good luck

Thats what I meant. Always dispose of them eventually without feeding them to your BP. Sorry should have clarified.
