What's too hot for ambient temps?
I don't have central AC, and am waiting on a new window unit so no AC at the moment. In the mean time of course a heat wave hits and I will have to be out of the house this weekend.
Is there an upper limit to the ambient temps I should be worried about? It's 86 in my room right now. No overhead heating of any kind on the tank. I've turned off her cool side UTH since it's hitting 82 without it being on anyway. Hot side still showing at 90. Humidity's fine at 55%

I have very little experience with snakes, but I believe the ambient temp should be about 75F.

I don't ever let mine go higher than 82, especially if you have a hot spot already. 88 ambient temp would be way too hot - that's hot side temp and they need a place to cool down from that.
Can't you buy a fan? And place a bucket of ice in front of it.
