Ball Python "Cleans Up" after finicky Kingsnake
My 3+ yr. old Normal bp is now feeding like a beast after his customary 7-month Fall/Winter fast.

Usually, I could count on my 4 foot female Kingsnake to clean up on small rats he refused, but now the tables have turned.

The King has been sort of finicky lately, and refused one of two mice I offered her today. The bp took a small rat, but obviously wanted more...

His feeding response was really ecstatic, and his head was jerking at the slightest movement afterward. The King's mouse was offered, and disappeared in seconds.

Hell must be freezing over... :confuzd:

    That's a new one.

My adult male King has always been more than happy to eat any refusals from the BP. I offered my BP a second mouse just the other day and he refused, was apparently cool with one, but the King was stoked to get the "leftovers".

I would prob think I was in some bizarro world if the roles reversed.
