    Bleeding from cloaca after shed
I was helping the new mimosa male shed today he was born 2015 weighs around 300 -350 grams or so was due to shed for a while andntoday was the day, seemed to be taking a while so i went in and gently grabed the part where he was shedding and he moved on as the shed peeled off. everything seemed perfect except then I noticed some blood around the cloaca and there seems to be a lil bit of shed stuck in there but im not gonna pull it out for fear of hurting him! Is this something i should be concerned about? does he need a vet? is it relatively normal?? will it just fall off on its own??

i think a bit of blood there after a shed is normal, but not something i've often seen. i've seen Yellow's cloaca look veeeerrry irritated after a shed but it usually clears up on its own. keep an eye on it, but i'd try to get the shed off with a damp towel.

A couple drops of blood after a shed is normal. I often see a couple small drops on my paper towel "substrate".
