Huuuge spike in humidity :/
So I recently got my first BP and snake a few days ago and everything's been smooth-sailing. His tub was set up a week before I brought him home from the seller and the husbandry was all correct, and still was until now.
But today around 1 am after I finished my homework I checked and saw the humidity was super high - in the mid 80s. Opening the tub, I saw that Kassadin, being the clumsy derp he is, put one of the crumpled paper towels I have in there (for cluttering) into his water bowl. The substrate (paper towels) was damp and sides + hides were slightly moist which was really concerning :(
I checked the tub like an hour before that and everything was still fine but I'm worrieddd >_< Do you think he'll get scale rot??
And the plan was to let him settle until Sunday until attempting to feed him but I had to pick him up to wipe the tub and replace the sub and let him pass through a paper towel incase he was wet. So I guess I'll extend his de-stressing period till Wednesday?
Btw, the temps and humidity are now 89-90 hot side, 80-81 cold side, and 60%.

You can still go for the Sunday feeding, a couple minutes handling early would hardly affect it. :D Though Wednesday is also fine if you're worried.
When they spill a water bowl or something, I just change new substrate and dry out the tub and put the snake back even if it's a bit wet. They'll dry off naturally in the dry substrate.
Oh phew thank god! It's literally 2 am on a school night and I couldn't fall asleep because I was worried sick lollll ^^; Thanks, I feel a lot better now :B
