Do you vacuum around your snakes?
Just curious. The reptile room that I just built out has carpet in it. It's in serious need for coconut husk cleanup. Anyone vacuum around their balls and it be okay? Do they complain or anything?
Also, I was watching a Graziani video yesterday and noticed that he changes out the entire bedding when he is cleaning his tubs. I have only ever spot cleaned. Anyone else changes out the whole bedding? Any reason for this? I guess I can do it quarterly.

Yes, I vacuum my carpet without any ill effects to my snakes.
I would spot clean each day and then once a month totally overhaul the tank with a cleaner/disinfectant. That is what I do at least.

Yep, and when it comes time to do a complete substrate change, I use a shop-vac (with the snake in a holding pen). I do complete substrate changes on an irregular schedule - if my nose says that it's time, substrate is starting to look meh (little bits of shed or other refuse that spot-cleaning can miss, etc.), or when a bunch of non-herp people will be visiting.

Spot clean daily if needed and replace all substrate as needed depending on the snake(my corn snake and retic get cleaned out more often than my burm and boas.)
Also having an Alaskan Malamute I vacuum daily and the roomba goes off every night. Snakes don't seem to mind
