    Blood boa pricing help
Hi guys! I have a ton of ball pythons and was thinking of getting into boas! I found one that I really like from a breeder! It's a female blood super hypo 100% double het sharp albino/anery! Boy that was a mouthful and a ton of genetics I have no clue about lol What would a boa like this normally be priced at? She's an adult too! I'm very excited and I wanted to know your opinions! Thanks so much for your time!

Hope you have a fat wallet lol. My guess would be $3000-$5000. This breeder didnt give a price? And you didnt message him asking for a price?

Plot twist! She's selling her to me pregnant by a super hypo blood double het male! I really don't know anything about boa genetics but from what she told me and you mentioned blood boas are very high priced! I'm just really excited to be getting my first one!

Uhhhh, I'd be worred about some breeder selling me a high dollar snake that is already pregnant. For one, why would said breeder be throwing away all that money from babies, especially a high dollar morph. Second, depending how pregnant she is, that might not be the best idea to be shipping her by plane with all that stress. That just screams slugging out or complications which worst case, could end up with a dead mama.

Also i hope you have a rack with heat tape and t-stat all set up along with an 80F room to keep them in as flexwatt wont heat the air so you will need a warmish ambient temp room. And i hope you have a supply of F/T fuzzy mice ready lol.

Also make sure you get some kind of written proof from the breeder as to their genetics. I for one would never drop that much cash on a no name breeder(you) for said babies, no offense. I know paperwork can be faked, but having it offers at least something better than just your word when trying to selling $2000+ babies lol.

To me this whole deal sounds kind of fishy and i would be very careful about throwing down your cash for said snake.

I have everything ready and setup! I'm expected to produce over 200 ball pythons this year so I started buying hatchling racks like candy already lol And we keep our snake room at an ambient temp of 80 sometimes a little higher because the room heats up easily! My breeder also lives 3 hours away so I can drive and pickup and it hopefully shouldn't put that much stress on the animal! If not then she can stay over there until she gives birth and has some meals! This girl is getting out of the business and has been supplying me with some of the rarest ball python morphs out there so I do trust her! I just don't know almost anything about boas! Even though I trust her with ball pythons because I can easily tell their genetics and morph and know what I'm getting as well as documents I've never bought a boa and wanted to double check on the price with you guys! She said she would give me a discount on this boa since I'm buying most of her collection! The new price is $400! So I'm very very excited! When the babies do come I'm not going to be able to tell what any of them are yet because I still don't know they're morphs so I'll definitely post their pics on here!
