    New book .... couple questions
Hello I have a 5 month old male bp. Couple questions here first is it normal for him to be wondering the tank all the time(30gal). Also any advise on how to keep humidity up with screen top without spraying?. Temps are 90 on hot side, 84 cool side with 56-65 percent humidity

Welcome. No, it's not normal for him to wander all the time. Normal is you only see him at night for a short period of time.

How are you heating your tank and how are you taking your temperature measurement?

Your humidity sounds perfect. To keep humidity with a screen top, the best advice is to cover as much as possible with foil.

Do you have any hides for him? Can you describe them if you do?

I have two heat lamps (100w) day bulb and 100w red night bulb which schedule is 8 to 8 . I have two digital temp gauges on either side of the tank along with the old fashioned one in the middle. Two hides , ones a log looking and other one is a small plastic box, also have a couple vines in there

A 30 gal is pretty big for such a small snake. Also, the log hides don't seem to offer the security they need. You may want to try removing the log and replacing it with two more of the plastic hides.

Have you had him long? Has he eaten for you yet?
