    A tent?
We just bought a new family tent for camping and it's huge. 10x10 footprint and 7 feet tall, the walls are pretty straight so even the edges are nearly as high.

Looking at it and seeing how it can be completely sealed with the zippers I'm wondering if anyone has ever tried housing a larger snake in one of these?

Maybe seal all the window zippers with some hot glue or something and then rig up a lock on the door zipper?

Anyway, just a thought that popped into my head and I figure maybe someone has tried it somewhere before. It's certainly cheaper than most large enclosures :)

I wonder how big of an RHP would be required to heat it?

Keeping the right temp and humidity would be hard, cleaning up a bowl movement even harder. The tent collapsing under the weight of the animal putting its full weight on one of the poles is a concern too. I think its a bad idea for a long term enclosure but maybe an adequate temporary holding space.

What kind of snake are we talking about? Aside from the husbandry and hygiene issues that would come with it I wouldn't trust a tent to contain any of my large constrictor. Especially a hungry retic
