    Granites?
I've looked everywhere, but everyone who seems to deal with Ball Python morphs doesn't have any granites. In the future I hope to breed BPs and figured that Granites would be the cheapest morph for me to start off with so I can build up to bigger things. My question is this: how much would a granite go for? I know it varies by gender, age, etc. but an estimate would be good. Thanks!

Granites are a pain some are genetic but many arent, you will see adds on kingsnake alot saying unproven granite baby BP basicaly that means they have a import that shows signs of granite it will have to be raised up and bread to prove if its genetic or not. I have 3 being raised up right now 1 proven and 2 unproven only time will tell. I have seen unprovens for $300 IMO thats way to much for the words "Unproven"

    here's my unproven granite
    https://ball-pythons.net/gallery/fil...9/100_0860.JPG

i bought her for 300 and she was about 300 grams, she's now 900 grams. i'll find out next year if she is or isn't genetic. have you thought about doing het to poss. het breeedings? you can find 100%het male albinos and hypos for a reasonable cost. 50% girls are priced a little above normals as babies. that might be an affordable way to get into morphs.

yes the colors can vary and fade but the granite markings are passed on to the offspring.
