    How long until they develop?
I am probably being extra concerned since these are my first two clutches, but I just candled both and while there's a lot of good veins, I don't see any babies. Clutch 1 is two weeks old and clutch 2 is one week old. How long until some embryos start showing up? I've got the heat at 87 and humidity hovers between 80-85% in the incubator (the eggs are in their own tubs that show good humidity).

I think it depends on how active the babies are? I candled my eggs at just over 2 weeks in only because I was checking them anyway and saw very clear movement in more than 1 eggs xx

If you have good veins then trust they are still viable and developing. I only candle once now when they are first laid, to check for good veins. After that more candling won't make any difference. The egg will either develop to term or fail and candling will not change the outcome. However, it is my belief that candling later into the development may lead to twisted umbilicus, as the developing snake has no eyelids and when there is sudden bright light, they may try to escape it causing complications. Just keep your temps and humidity stable and at 87 degrees, you should see some pippers around day 61 to 63.
