Please help! Small red spots/dots/something on my ball python! Help!

Hey guys, new owner to a ball python. Had him for about 2 weeks now. All of a sudden right after I fed him, he has these small red spots. I don't believe its mites because it doesn't look like any signs of mites on other snakes I've seen. The spots are not bumpy, and actually look more like small scrapes. I fed my 3 month bp live mice. Maybe the last mouse I fed him scratched him or something? Maybe I've been over misting his cage and the humidity is causing it? No idea, please help! P.S. humidity it usually 60% during the day but I occasionally give the tank a few mists when it drops to 50%, maybe I spray too much? It doesn't seem like anything too harmful and I'm hoping it can go away with a shed. But if I'm wrong please tell me ASAP and what I should do!

P.S. He has been eating super well, 2 feeds and ate both no problem!

my guess is a scratch willl go away when he sheds
happend to my albino a few weeks ago it is just easy to see on a albino

Okay thanks! I was thinking the same thing, Ill make sure to have tongs ready at hand next time. In the case that it is not a scratch though, what should I look out for? Any signs? And I believe I can use anesthetic Neosporin for snake wounds correct? And since you have an Albino, Im just curious, when hes ready to shed do his eyes turn blueish cloudy also or is it another shade of color?

Nevermind guys! I took a closer look, and its clearly indented from a scratch, just thankful its not snake mites lol. Anyone know if albinos eyes turn the same cloudy color as all ball pythons or is it different? Thanks

eyes of a albino turn cloudy red you can see a big diffrernce but the are still red just cloudy and only use ointment with out pain reliever as the pain medication in triple antibiotic cream is toxic to reptiles
