Going to the dark side...

Okay, it may not be a bp but I have expanded my little gecko collection to include an adorable little hatchling creamsicle cornsnake. I figured I wasn't getting enough stress from keeping my cresties (gotta love them for their low maitenance! :D ), so I decided to take a foray into snake mamahood.

She seems okay so far, but I'm trying to let her settle in after a long day home from the Hamburg Show (HEY MATT WHERE WERE YOU!!! I NEEDED TO GET A THERMOSTAT!!! ;) :P :) ).

Anyway, I'm sure I'll have plenty of freaked out questions when Lil Booger does not eat...and yes, that's her name, I don't know how but it just sort of came to me on the way home (who's laughing now!!!!) :P ;) :D ... no smart remarks from the peanut gallery...you know who you are...:blowkiss: :D .

Well congratulation Wendy! I will of course make no comments like "so what color is your Booger?"...."how big is that Booger"...."can I see a pic of your Booger?" that would just be juvenile of me. :P

LMAO!!! You just gave me a good laugh for tonight and a peek at what is to come. I was planning on calling her L.B. in polite company but since I'm only here I figured I could let it all hang out ;) :D

Don't worry Wendy my 12 and 14 year old have friends over tonight (I'm going crazzzzzzzzzzzzy!!!). The 4 of them will of course supply me with many, many, many good booger lines :P

Well my oldest has just got her own apartment (how did those years pass so quickly!) so one lil bird has flown this nest. I don't quite know how I managed to end up with both my son and daughter getting permission for friends to sleep over for 2 nights. Tricky lil buggers! Mike has retreated to the bedroom, but he'll pay for that tomorrow when I suddenly develop a "sick headache" and he can run herd at the lake with the herd of hoodlams.

Actually tonight is relatively quiet. Last night the count was....my 14 year old son, my 12 year old daughter, 14 year old male friend, 12 year old female friend, my 4 year old son, the 4 year old I babysit while his mother works 2nd shift, the 1 year old brother of aforementioned 4 year old. That was......fun.

Just a quick update on Lil Booger...SHE ATE last night!!! I still can't figure out how she got that huge pinky in her little, teeny mouth, but thank God she did! I can now fill out my little husbandry chart "08/08/05 - L.B. ate live pinky" ...can't wait to put a date and check in the BM part of the chart, not to mention shed!

I'm too excited for words and can't wait until I can start to handle her in a few more days and get some pics to post!!! WOOHOO! :w00t: :banana:

Actually, it was. I was feeling really bad for the poor little thing, and was ready to put it out of it's misery, but Lil Booger did it for me...and didn't you realize I named her in your honor! :P :D
