Ball python wobble and other issues

I didn't get to put my Canadian token into the locked thread, so I'll put this here; although, I suspect this thread will be locked as well.
I kept many snakes 15 years ago and now am getting back into the passion. I worked for NOAA as a curator and a herp, and I've had my share of educational tours many years ago. Sure, there are MANY keepers more experienced than me, and I still make dumb mistakes, but one of the things that bothers me the most are hobbyists who are misinformed because of breeder chatter. No. No one is at fault here. But, I think hobbyist need to be less concerned about their pet being property than they are a member of the family. If your snake has wobble, but he's okay, it's no big deal. He's not broken. Not to you. I think when people look for pets, they tend to look for the perfect ones. There is nothing wrong with pets that are not. They need families and love too. I dunno what I'm saying. I've been drinking a lot after my law school finals. I need to go cry now. Bye

I love my spider but she doesn't visibly wobble. I know she's got the neuro thing because she's a spider and they go hand in hand, so she can't not have it, but I have never seen her wobble. She's still a goof ball though.

When feeding, my bumble bee and honey bee literally look like they are having a seizure. Spider double het unknown ghost/orange ghost and albino spider cork screw like crazy. And pastel woma does both. Awesome genes

Most of the genetic defect list is on my NO list. Altough a couple are at the very top of my yes list.

Honestly, if I intend to breed the animal, I don't want to touch those genes (aside from lessers and black pastels).

HOWEVER I don't really see why someone who has one of the genetic defect related morphs would enjoy the snake any less, unless they were planning on breeding it and didn't want to perpetuate the gene.

All the years i've been lurking this site i've seen my fair share of wobble threads. I realized how strongly people feel about spider and don't even mention scaleless bp's lol. I'm not ok with physical defects like duck bill, kinked tail, among others but i'm ok with the spider wobble. My sugar bee and killer bee are two of my most gorgeous ball pythons so they aren't going anywhere well not soon anyway. If they can eat on their own i have no huge issue with them. Just like others have said my killer bee has a seizure on feeding day but my sugar bee isn't that bad at all really so it does vary. And just for the sake of giving my opinion on scaleless i don't think they are really suffering but got mixed feelings on if that's really best for them. With this said shamefully i still want to see a scaleless pied.

I don't show my killer bee fader enough so here's a pic. Its neat to think she might of been hatched at nerds facility. She has a bit of a back story but i've typed enough in this reply lol.

She was hiding under her paper and i got this lovely shot of her. Its a older pic but she pretty much looks the same now big and yellow. Fader is helping her hold her colors well. Also i might try to breed her to my nana boy later this year maybe. I do have a c serpent incubator but i'm still doing my homework on breeding.

That would be a pretty pairing!

I do honestly wonder how common really bad wobble and corkscrewing even is. Is it really so prevalent that I'm the weird one off with the perfectly coordinated spider, or is it a case of, "these extreme individuals pop up from time to time and it freaks people out so they label the whole genetic line a wash" ?

By my collection, 2 of 3 have significant wobbles. I believe it is a roll of the dice though.
