How active are boas? (Question about mine not moving much lately)
So, for the last few days my boy (That I have had for a month now) hasn't really been roaming as much as he had been. First week he was really active, I'd assume because he hadn't been fed in 3 weeks? I fed him a small mouse which was probably a size smaller than he needs, he was fairly active for the next ten days until I fed another small mouse (both he took with little problems) I researched the hell out of care and he has the best set up I could get (Or I think he does at least) this week since the 6 mice we bought seemed half the size he should be eating I fed two with no problem, since then (four days ago) he's just been chilling in his warm hide without me bothering him aside from changing water once or twice on the other side of the enclosure, he peeps his head out sometimes during the day but that's it.
I have two theories and would love your thoughts on them?
Theory one: He's just finally settled down in his new home
Theory two: He's just been too fat and lazy to move after eating double his average mouse intake?

How can a boa possibly be more hungrier than they already are lol? Mine are all garbage cans that get so excited when i open the cage doors. Then you can literally see the disappointment when there is no food but my hand instead dragging them out haha.

Pretty much. Mine would eat as much as I give her. Her whole attitude changes when she smells food. I just looked in on her and she was taking a dump in her water bowl. She is something else. It's nice to see her personality developing.

Haha yup. They do get all excited when they smell food. I can pet mine on their heads and reach in and drag them out np but when food is around, its time to use the doors as shields haha.
