After I've done research, I decided to make a bio-active viv for my BP. Unfortunately, there are currently gnats in the tank, and I am afraid it is going to infest the soil and cause mass population of those little creatures.
What should I do to get rid of them? Fortunately, the plants inside are succulents, so they won't need to be watered that much, but the soil under the water bowl will probably be enough for them to reproduce.
I also thought of the yellow sticker trap, but I'm afraid my BP will get stuck in it. There are also insecticides that I could use, but that would result in killing off all the pill bugs and springtails in the cage, which I would like to avoid. Same thing with beneficial nematodes. They will also eat springtails in addition to gnat larvae.
