    Snake going off food. Again.
I've had my BP for about 9 months now. She went off of food from December to March. I fed her a rat pup and a small rat in the beginning of March and then she hasn't eaten since then.

I know it's normal for them to do this, but it just worries me that she's only eaten twice in almost 5 months.

How much does she weigh and her age? 5 months isn't a big deal for an adult but if it's still on rat pups then it's either still a baby and 5 months without food would be worrisom or being fed prey that's way too small. Need more info to make suggestions.

keeping a record of the snakes weight is a good indicator of its health. I have a problem eater that will gorge herself and then go on hunger strikes for a long time, however her weight never significantly drops so i know she is ok.

This is exactly what my 4 years old male does.

She's about 9 months old and she's right at 400 grams.

She ways a little over 400 grams and is almost 10 months. I normally feed her small rats but the local pet shop only had pups so I fed her one to hold her over for a bit because she had just come off of a 4 month strike.
